Hitler’s Early Political Visor #6474

This is the only hat owned by Hitler to survive WWII in private hands.  Two others exist, in a museum in Moscow.  This visor was brought back by US Army veteran Philip Benjamin Lieber, in 1945. Originally sold to Mohawk Arms in the 1970s, the visor is part of the Lieber grouping, which was sold to Wolfe and Hardin in the 1990s.  Click here to view the provenance of the entire group (Please note: this is a 50-page PDF document with high-resolution scans.  Accordingly, it may take a couple of minutes to load, depending on your connection speed.)
